In January 2006 I started working as a Project manager for an on-line marketing research company.
After just 2 months of working for IISE, I have been assigned a tracking project with a monthly budget of 35,000 Euros. Today I manage 4 tracking projects with a total monthly budget of 60,000 Euros and coach new employees about project management in on-line marketing research.
As a project manager in IISE my main responsibilities are: communicating with the clients on all stages of the project, coordinating teams of 2 to 5 members, negotiating timings and resources.
Working for IISE has helped me a lot in developing my multitasking and problem solving skills and also my business communication skills (I mainly work with clients from UK ).

Sfera Expo
In 2004, after 2 years of marketing in DaAfaceri, I decided to start my own business. Together with a friend we launched Sfera Expo – trade show marketing, a firm which planned to change the exhibition landscape in Romania.
Sfera Expo has marked a very important step in my professional and life experience. During my work there, I learned about running a business, service development, sales and costumer service.
My daily activities included: face-to-face/ telephone selling, brainstorming sessions and translating/ writing articles for out web site (http://www.targurisiexpozitii.ro/)

DaAfaceri Started together with some colleagues form the Academy of Economic Studies in 2002, the purpose of the Students' Organization DaAfaceri is to encourage students to start their own business.
The first program we launched is called Business Intro which consisted of a conference and a series of 5 seminars. This event has filled the Aula Magna (a 250 places conference room) of our university with students interested in launching their own business. 23 students were selected for the seminars and out of these, 5 have started their own businesses within one year of the event. My contribution to the organizing Business Intro has been: producing the promotional materials (posters and leaflets) and convincing Xerox Romania to sponsor printing these. The collaboration with Xerox Romania has continued after the first edition of Business Intro ended.
After being elected as Marketing Vice-president of the organization, I devoted all my time to managing the overall marketing activity of the organization. I started my work with a marketing research project. Together with a 10 members team I conceptualized and run a survey among 500 students in our university with the purpose of finding out their needs in terms of business/ training events. The results of this survey lead to the birth of another 2 successful DaAfaceri events: ResUmE (for HR enthusiasts) and MarkeTHINK (for marketing enthusiasts).
